The Early Childhood Education Department is committed to work that will ensure that all CCSD Pre-Kindergarten programs have access to high-quality, developmentally appropriate Tier I instruction and instructional materials and that the curriculum and assessment are aligned to the Nevada Pre-Kindergarten Standards. Through resources provided by the department, Pre-Kindergarten teachers will have the tools and the knowledge to provide learning opportunities to all students through teacher-led activities and child-directed play. The foundational skills students learn in Pre-Kindergarten will promote a culture of learners to continue throughout their educational journey.
