16 Aug Teachers Needed for K-5 Science Performance Task Development Committee
The opportunity to serve on the K-5 Science Performance Task Development Committee is open to Grades K-5 teachers for researching, vetting, and developing performance tasks to be used to assess the Nevada Academic Content Standards for Science (NVACSS) in Grades K-5.
Elementary teachers will:
- Unwrap the NVACSS performance expectations (standards).
- Examine and develop prompts and questions to assess the NVACSS.
- Create scoring guides to determine levels of understanding of the NVACSS.
- Pilot, score, and revise performance tasks.
