The Nevada Department of Education provides a variety of statewide services in multicultural education and diversity issues. Staff and program assistance is available to schools, school districts, administration, community programs, business and industry, and postsecondary institutions throughout Nevada. Services include consultation, professional development, special presentations, seminars, and workshops. Nevada Department of Education staff members are located in northern and southern Nevada and specialize in various aspects of improving student achievement through the understanding of human diversity and promoting greater access and equity in public education.
