Description of Programs:

K. O. Knudson Middle School Academy of Creative Arts, Language, and Technology focuses on performing and visual arts, and technology. Students are challenged to explore their interests and develop their talents while participating in an academically challenging curriculum. Students in the magnet program have an extended school day which includes two elective classes (their major area and one other elective).

Students are initially placed in beginning, intermediate, or advanced levels of the program they have selected as their major, based on a pre-assessment activity. Students proceed to more advanced levels as their individual abilities develop.
