CCSD’s “Español para ti” Video/DVD Program is used throughout the United States to bring elementary Spanish instruction to school districts in New Jersey, Oregon, Florida, Georgia, and even Alaska. 

Culturama
Every year the Las Vegas Academy of International Studies hosts and sponsors a week-long cultural learning experience for elementary students: Culturama. Elementary students visit Culturama to experience first hand an aspect of foreign culture. During one year's event, the Culturama theme was entitled Music Makes the World Go Round. Approximately 1,800 elementary students visited high school classrooms that had been transformed into Japan, Mexico, France, and Germany. The high school language majors instructed mini-lessons of vocabulary, culture, and songs that were representative of each geographic area.
